Enterprise Applications Integraion

TIBCO® BusinessWorks
In addition to TIBCO Business Process Management solution, Countdown Technologies is partnered with TIBCO to offer our clients one of the top EAI solution in the industry today, TIBCO BusinessWorks. TIBCO BusinessWorks is a fully standards-based platform that allows companies to integrate and orchestrate disparate systems across an enterprise or department with minimal to no programming. Based on a single integrated design environment for configuring application services and modeling process flows, TIBCO BusinessWorks enables IT professionals to configure and deploy applications in much less time, and at much less cost than competitors’ solutions.

In order to stay competitive and meet the fast-paced demands of real-time business, companies are forced to automate more and more business activities that span applications and organizations. IT managers must break down functional silos and unlock and extend the value of their application and information assets by integrating disparate applications. These applications, purchased or home-grown, have to be integrated based on a myriad of constantly changing standards, technologies and designs. The effort and cost required to create and maintain the integration interfaces and process definitions that rely on those technologies make it difficult for IT departments to modify their infrastructure to support changing business requirements. TIBCO BusinessWorks enables companies to meet this challenge by providing a standards-based platform for rapidly developing, deploying and continuously improving integration processes. With TIBCO BusinessWorks, users can easily integrate data, semantics and business logic across incompatible applications using popular standards, and can orchestrate process flows that take advantage of those applications and pieces of information. TIBCO BusinessWorks provides a foundation on which companies can build a Service Oriented Architecture.

BusinessWorks Benefits:

  • Lowers costs and boosts productivity by enabling IT personnel to configure application interfaces and process definitions without time-consuming and error-prone coding through an intuitive graphical interface with integrated debugging, automated deployment and powerful management and monitoring functionality.
  • Improves business agility by enabling IT to rapidly adapt to changing business
  • Requirements by exposing business logic as services outside of the application layer and insulating them from changes to the underlying application infrastructure.
  • Enables collaborative development and reuse by providing a centrally accessible and manageable repository of metadata, versioning tools, and check-in/checkout capabilities.
  • Protects and extends investments in standards, technologies and applications by providing an open platform for managing and orchestrating legacy assets together with new and future assets based on popular standards such as Web services.
  • Improves continuity of operations by providing a reliable, available and scalable means of integrating assets and coordinating their activities.

TIBCO Business Integration Platform – Mainframe Integration

Our partner TIBCO’s complete set of integration software which includes packaged adapters for leading applications and complementary products for exception handling and collaboration, data integration, and business-to-business integration.

Features

  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web services - SOA is an architectural paradigm for building flexible and modular business applications from shared business services. TIBCO BusinessWorks provides the foundation for building and managing an SOA. TIBCO BusinessWorks provides IT organizations with tools to rapidly create standard interfaces that expose existing application functionality in a manner that insulates it from underlying systems using popular standards such as Web services. TIBCO BusinessWorks provides a powerful platform to model, discover, and orchestrate Web services, and then configure these Web services as components of composite applications using leading Web service standards such as SOAP over HTTP/S, SOAP over JMS, UDDI, WSDL, etc.
  • TIBCO Information Bus™ Architecture - TIBCO BusinessWorks leverages TIBCO’s Information Bus architecture used by many of the world’s largest companies to achieve information distribution with extraordinary performance, fault tolerance and reliability. This architecture gives TIBCO BusinessWorks extreme fault tolerance and high availability by making it possible for the software to distribute tasks that need to be performed among a group of distributed engines.
  • Full Life Cycle Management - TIBCO BusinessWorks provides an end-to-end solution to model, assembles, deploy and manage integration processes in a zerocode environment. TIBCO BusinessWorks provides an intuitive graphical user interface, a powerful built-in debugger to test and validate projects within the designer and the ability to deploy projects with a click of a button.
  • Metadata Management - The effective use of metadata (data that describes data) can reduce deployment time by enabling developers to configure and modify applications independent of the underlying data structure. As the number of integration interfaces grow, the complexity of managing the metadata that supports them, increases exponentially. TIBCO BusinessWorks addresses this problem by using an XML-aware metadata repository called TIBCO XML Canon™, which facilitates central management and reuse of metadata and other XML assets.
  • Standards Support - TIBCO is committed to supporting leading technology and industry standards and drives many of the standards in the integration and Web services space. Through our commitment to standards we help customers mitigate risk and future-proof their investment by allowing them to leverage existing skill sets and avoid vendor lock-in.
  • Supports leading standards and protocols including HTTP/S, FTP, SMTP, and JDBC. Extensive Web services standards support – including a SOAP processor, SOAP over JMS and SOAP over HTTP/S
  • Supports XML with built-in schema authoring tool, parsing and rendering capabilities, and an XSLT-based wizard and engine for transformation.
  • Supports Java types and methods for easy access to custom or third-party libraries without Java coding. Supports J2EE, JMS and direct access to EJBs without coding.

Security

  • Basic identity authentication or SSL with certificate management.
