Countdown
Technologies Inc. has a long history of commitment to community service.
As we strive to deliver excellence to our customers in products and service,
we are mindful of the same responsibility of excellence in giving back
to our communities. The following represents the current non-profit organizations
that we are board members and major contributors:
Community Technology Centers Network –
A network of more than 1700
community based technology centers that are dedicated to
the dissemination
and development of digital technologies to low income communities
in ways
that strengthen individuals, families and communities.
YMCA Achievers
– In partnership with education, business and community
leadership, the YMCA will expose to our youth positive options
and engage
them in experiences through which they can make productive
life choices
and assume positions of local, national and global leadership.
Mothers
of Incarcerated Sons – The mission is to provide and aid in
the
healing and restoration of mothers and their sons who are,
or have been
incarcerated, while enhancing their well being as well as
promoting safety
of our community.
J.R. Smith Youth
Foundation – J.R. Smith, new NBA star playing for the New
Orleans Hornets, and his parents, Earl & Ida Smith have created
this foundation to provide support for our communities. As a board
member, Anthony E. Mosely, CEO, and the foundation have the mission
to provide programs to enhance educational & health awareness
for challenging
inner city kids. |
