Silent Messenger PageStation, intranet based multi-user paging software provides easy to use communications to all pagers in the enterprise, both on premise and commercial service paging providers. Countdown MessageNet provides hardware, software and pagers for a complete turnkey solution that meets all your paging needs.

Silent Messenger VisualPA is the most cost effective & user-friendly electronic sign based visual intercom/ public address hardware and software system available in the market place today. All products work with wireless hand held remote control programmers or with software that you can install on your PC and the premier MessageNet WorX software applications on the market today. These server based MessageNet WorX software applications communicates to the message signs no matter where you place them on your enterprise network. They can be 20 feet away, on other floors, in other buildings, or across the country. Anywhere your network reaches you can place signs and communicate to them using any PC in the enterprise, if you give the user authority to do so.

PageStation provides many advanced Paging features.

  • Archives all messages sent and received.
  • User defined distribution lists to page multiple people with a single message.
  • Supports pager authorization lists to stop pager abuse. Allows users to create lists of people that can or cannot page them.
  • Allows pager forwarding, like Phone forwarding routes pager messages to the responsible party.
  • Supports scheduled paging. Allows you to create schedules as to when pages are delivered.
  • Allows users to reply to pages which automatically return a receivers reply page to the sender.

Cabling Plant Services
CTI provides nationwide cabling services to meet our client’s infrastructure requirements and specifications. The following represents a typical outlined structure and plan:

Codes & Certifications
All cabling will meet both state and local codes as well as adhere strictly to the Infrastructure Upgrade in the Cabling Standards and Specifications. The cabling design and installation shall follow strict industry standards set forth by the Building Industry Consulting Service International, Inc. (BICSI), and will be certified by a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).

Purpose
CTI establishes a design and installation plan to be reviewed by the client for the installation of the data cabling system for their project. The purpose of our plan is to assure the client design meets their needs, and is installed in strict accordance with the contract. Our plan serves as a management tool for any oversights in design, installation procedures and standards.

Plan Objective

  • Reduce the client’s total cost for the installation while maintaining quality and functionality.
  • To assure the client of CTI’s compliance with all completion dates, standards, and schedules.
  • Provide the client with consistent installation, testing, documentation, and warranties on this project.
  • Provide the client with an installation support plan targeted toward supporting this facility within acceptable pricing, response, and time constraints.

Site Survey Services
The following represents a standard site survey that will be conducted prior to actual work. Please keep in mind that each survey differs based on the actual requirements and site deliverables:

  • Tour entire facility, check for networked devices (i.e., hubs and switches) that may be located in a location other than the central wiring closet
  • Quantity of network devices that may be daisy chained
  • Determine phone system by make/model
  • Inventory networking equipment such as modems, routers, hubs and switches in operation (quantity of devices) by asset tag #’s and make/model
  • Inventory Spare Networking equipment such as modems, routers, hubs and switches (quantity of devices) by asset tag #’s and make/model
  • Take before pictures
  • Inventory number and make/model of devices (dumb terminals, PC’s, printers, etc)
  • Type of cabling and how it’s terminated
  • Verify installation/type of dial backup
  • Environmental condition of wiring closet (make recommendations)
  • Condition and location of closet area
  • UPS? Model/Type
  • Surge protectors? Is all networking gear plugged directly into protection or outlets?
  • Is the equipment located within 6 feet of the D-Marc or extended D-Marc?
  • Are circuit ID’s clearly labeled if extended at both ends?
  • Is there a phone that can reach the wiring closet area
  • Provide findings documentation to Client
